Notice of Application for the Transfer of a Licence
TAKE NOTICE that COASTAL HORIZON CASTLEROCK LTD, company number NI733520 whose registered office address is at 6 Sea Road, Castlerock, BT51 4RE (“the Applicant”) intends to apply to Coleraine Magistrates’ Court sitting at Coleraine Courthouse, 46a Mountsandel Road, Coleraine, BT52 1NY at 10.00am on 10 th July 2026 for the transfer to it of a licence at present held by Robert Butler of Highfield House, 19 Circular Road, Castlerock, BT51 4XA for premises situate at 6 Sea Road, Castlerock, BT51 4RE, being premises of a kind specified in Article 5(1)(a) of the Licensing (Northern Ireland) Order 1996 namely premises in which the business carried on under the licence is the business of selling intoxicating liquor for consumption either in or off the premises.
The Applicant is a private limited company, whose sole director is Lynn Butler of 6 Sea Road, Castlerock, BT51 4RE. The said director, and no other persons, have executive control.
The Applicant is the owner of the business carried on under the licence.
The owner of the premises is Robert Butler of Highfield House, 19 Circular Road, Castlerock, BT51 4XA.
The Licence will be deposited with the clerk of the petty sessions before or at the hearing of the application.
AND FURTHER TAKE NOTICE that any person owning or residing or carrying on business in premises in the vicinity of the premises for which the transfer of the licence is sought who intends to object to the transfer of the licence must in accordance with paragraph 4 of Schedule 5 to the Licensing Order serve notice of his intention to object upon the applicant and the Clerk of the Petty Sessions not less than one week before the time of the court sitting at which the application is to be heard and the permissible grounds of objection are those specified in Article 22(6) of the Licensing Order.
