What is proposed?

LICENSING ACT 2003: APPLICATION TO VARY
PREMISES LICENCE

Notice is hereby given that Punch Taverns Limited has
applied to South Tyneside Licensing Authority in respect
of Lake 69 Lake Avenue South Shields Tyne & Wear
NE34 7AY for an application to vary the premises licence
under the Licensing Act 2003 to permit the following: This
is an application to vary the layout and design of the
premises in accordance with the submitted plan (drawing
no 2608-501), namely to reflect a full refurbishment project
and to include new fixed seating and new fixed joinery. To
also extend the permitted hours for the sale of alcohol, live
music, recorded music and entertainment similar to
live/recorded music on a Friday and Saturday as follows;
From 11:00h until 00:00h, with 30 minutes drinking up time
following the last sale of alcohol with the premises closing
to the public at 00:30h the following morning. To add the
permission for late night refreshment on a Friday and
Saturday from 23:00h until 00:00h. To remove all existing
operating conditions and replace with a revised operating
schedule of conditions. A full list of these conditions can
be viewed on the full application held by South Tyneside
Council Licensing Authority and available to view upon
request. All other operating times and licensable activities
authorised by the existing Premises Licence to remain
unchanged. Anyone who wishes to make representations
regarding this application must give notice in writing to:
Licensing Section, South Tyneside Council, Development
Services, Level 2, Town Hall & Civic Offices, Westoe
Road, South Shields, NE33 2RL. Representations must be
received no later than the end of 7th July 2026. The
