What is proposed?

LICENSING ACT 2003 NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A PREMISES LICENCE

Application has been made by Aldi Stores Limited to the Licensing Authority of Ashford Borough Council for a Premises Licence for the Aldi Store at Canterbury Road, Ashford, TN24 8QQ.

The proposed licensable activity is the sale by retail of alcohol for consumption off the premises each day of the week between 06:00 and 00:00.

A register of licensing applications can be viewed at Licensing, Ashford Borough Council, International House, Dover  Place,Ashford, Kent,TN23 1HU, 01233 33111, by appointment.

Written representations can be made to the Licensing Authority at the above address at any time up to and including 13th July 2026.

The Council will not entertain representations where the writer requests that
his identity remains anonymous. Copies of all representations will be included in the papers presented to the Licensing Panel and will therefore pass onto the public domain.

Representations must relate to one or more of the four Licensing Objectives: The prevention of Crime and Disorder, Public Safety,The Prevention of Public Nuisance and The Protection of Children from Harm.

It is an offence for anyone knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with a Licence Application. The maximum fine on summary conviction is Level 5.
