We Heartwood Inns Ltd do hereby serve notice on
2nd June 2026 that it is our intention to apply to
Lewes District Council for the grant of a new
premises to use or permit the use of premises
known as The White Hart 55 High Street Lewes
BN7 1XE for the following licensable activities:
Supply of alcohol every day from 10:00 to midnight.
Late Night Refreshment to the same terminal
hours
24 hours per day to hotel guests
Any person who desires to make a representation
to the grant should send a brief written statement
of the grounds of his/her objection to
lewes-eastbourne.gov.uk or Licensing Team, 6
High Street, Lewes BN7 2AD no later than midnight
on 30th June 2026. The register and records of

the maximum penalty for which a person is liable
on summary conviction is an unlimited fine.
