What is proposed?
LICENSING ACT 2003
Application has been made by Marston’s PLC to the Licensing Authority of East Staffordshire Borough Council to vary the Premises Licence for the Anchor Inn, 5 New Street, Burton upon Trent, DE14 3QN. The application includes the following terms:
1. To permit use of external bar and license external areas for sale of alcohol as per the drawing deposited with the Licensing Authority.
Applications can be viewed by appointment only at Licensing Department, East Staffordshire Borough Council, The Brewhouse, Union Street, Burton upon Trent, DE14 1AA. A list of applications can be viewed online at www.eaststaffsbc.gov.uk.
Any representations must be made in writing to the Licensing Team, East Staffordshire Borough Council, The Town Hall, King Edward Place, Burton upon Trent, DE14 2EB or email: licensing@eaststaffsbc.gov.uk by 01 July 2026
It is an offence for anyone knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with a Licence Application.
The maximum fine on summary conviction is unlimited.
