NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A
PREMISES LICENCE
Notice is hereby given that an application has been made
by Amazon UK Services Ltd to Cherwell District Council
for the grant of a Premises Licence at Unit 3, Southam
Road, Banbury Cross, Banbury, Oxfordshire, OX16 2DJ.
The proposed application is for a premises licence to permit
the sale of alcohol by retail for consumption off the
premises from 00:00am to 23:59pm Monday to Sunday.
Full details of the application are contained within the
application form held by the Licensing Authority
at Cherwell District Council, 39 Castle Quay, Banbury,
OX16 5FD, where the licensing register can be inspected
during the Authority’s normal opening hours or online by
visiting their website
Any representations by a responsible authority or other
person regarding the above-mentioned application must be
made in writing to the Licensing Authority at Cherwell
District Council, 39 Castle Quay, Banbury, OX16 5FD or
to
no later than 26 June
2026, stating the grounds upon which the representation is
being made.
It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false
statement in connection with an application. The maximum
financial penalty on summary conviction is unlimited.
