What is proposed?

Notice of application to vary a Premises Licence under
Section 34 of the Licensing Act 2003

Notice is hereby given that Mitchells & Butlers Leisure
Retail Limited in respect of Premises known as The
Highfield, Newbold Road, Newbold, Chesterfield,
Derbyshire, S41 7PS applied to Chesterfield Borough
Council for a Variation of a Premises Licence. The
proposed variation is: 1. To extend the start time for the sale
of alcohol, both on & off the premises, to 09:00 hours
(currently 10:00 hours) Mondays to Sundays. All other
permitted hours and licensable activities remain as existing.
2.To amend the start time of the non-standard timing for
Thursdays to Mondays of all Bank Holidays for the sale of
alcohol to start at 09:00 hours (currently 10:00 hours).

received in writing by, Licensing Authority, Chesterfield
Borough Council, Service Centre, 85 New Square,
Chesterfield, S40 1AH or via email to

no later than 1 July 2026
stating the grounds for representation. The register of
Chesterfield Borough Council and the record of the
application may be inspected at the address of the council,
given above, during normal business hours or on the
council’s website
