What is proposed?

LICENSING ACT 2003 APPLICATION FOR A PREMISES LICENCE (Section 17)

Notice is hereby given that The Double Red Clanfield Limited has applied to West Oxfordshire District Council on 4 June 2026 for the grant of a Premises Licence in respect of The Duchess, Brampton Road, Clanfield; Oxfordshire OX18 2RG to allow on and off sales of alcohol and opening hours, only for residents and bona fide guests 24 hours and late night refreshment, only for residents and bona fide guests 23:00 to 05:00 daily.

The full application can be inspected by contacting the Licensing Section (see below). A summary of the application can be viewed on www.westoxon.gov.uk. Representations must be made IN WRITING between 5 June 2026 and 2 July 2026. Any representations made must relate to one of the 4 Licensing Objectives: prevention of crime and disorder; public safety; prevention of public nuisance; and protection of children from harm.
