What is proposed?
NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A VARIATION OF A PREMISES LICENCE
Notice is hereby given that We, Greene King Brewing & Retailing Limited have applied to the City of York Council on 29th May 2026 for a variation to a premises licence to use the premises at: Lendal Cellars, 26 Lendal, York, YO1 8AG.
The application is to vary the licensing layout plan for full refurbishment to the internal and external trade areas including a new external bar for the sale and supply of alcohol. Any part of the variation application that changes the plan/layout at the premises to be of no effect until the work has been completed.
Any person who wishes to make a representation in relation to this application must give notice in writing of their representation by 26th June 2026 stating the grounds for making said representation to the: City of York Council Licensing Team, Hazel Court, EcoDepot, James Street, York, YO10 3DS, or email to licensing@york.gov.uk.
The application may be viewed by prior arrangement with City of York Council Licensing Team (Tel: 01904 552512) at Hazel Court, EcoDepot, James Street, York, YO10 3DS between 8.30am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday www.york.gov.uk. The Licensing Authority must receive representations by the date given above. The Licensing Authority will have regard to any such representation in considering the application.
It is an offence, under section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003, to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in or in connection with an application for premises licence and the maximum fine on summary conviction is unlimited.
