What is proposed?

NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR VARIATION OF A PREMISES LICENCE

Notice is hereby given that Star Pubs Trading Limited has applied for a variation of a Premises Licence in respect of premises known as the Royal Oak, 134 Liverpool Road, Aughton, Ormskirk L39 3LW.

The variation proposed is as follows:- To update the licensing plan following an extension to the building which has increased the internal floor space. Change opening start time to 08.00 to permit nonlicensable activities such as breakfasts and soft drinks to be provided.

A copy of the Application can be inspected at the offices of West Lancashire Borough Council Licensing Authority, West Lancashire Borough Council, 52 Derby Street, Ormskirk L39 2DF www.westlancs.gov.uk during normal office hours.

This application was lodged with West Lancashire Borough Council Licensing Authority on 3 June 2026 and any representations must be made in writing to West Lancashire Borough Council Licensing Authority at the above address or licensing.enquiries@westlancs.gov.uk no later than 1st July 2026.

It is an offence under Section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003 to make a false statement in or in connection with this application. Those who make a false statement may be liable on summary conviction to a fine of any amount.
