What is proposed?

LONDON LOCAL AUTHORITIES ACT 1990 (AS AMENDED) NOTICE OF INTENTION TO: VARY THE PRESCRIBED STANDARD CONDITIONS FOR STREET TRADING LICENCES AND TO VARY THE REGULATION OF COMMODITIES

NOTICE is hereby given that the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham proposes to amend the current Regulations under section 27(3) of the London Local Authorities Act 1990 (as amended), prescribing standard conditions applicable to street trading licences within the borough. The council may make regulations prescribing standard conditions which they may attach to the licence on the grant or renewal of a street trading licence.

NOTICE is hereby given that the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham proposes to amend the current Regulations under section 25(3B) of the London Local Authorities Act 1990 (as amended) prescribing the procedure for determining applications in relation to the Council's street trading commodities information and categories of goods that may be sold under a street trading licence issued to trade within the borough.

It is proposed that the variation to the existing Prescribed Standard Conditions for Street Trading Licences and the variation to the Regulation of Commodities will take effect from 31 July 2026.

A copy of the updated Prescribed Standard Conditions for Street Trading Licences and the updated Regulation of Commodities can be obtained online from the Council's website or upon request by sending an email to: StreetTrading@lbhf.gov.uk .

Representations relating to the above regulations may be made in writing to the council within four weeks of this publication. The Council will consider this matter after the expiry of four weeks from the publication of this notice.
