What is proposed?

LICENSING ACT 2003 APPLICATION FOR A NEW PREMISES LICENCE

I, Mr Michael Beaumont have applied to SOUTH STAFFORDSHIRE COUNCIL for a premises licence for : Golfspot, Cannock Road, Bednall, Stafford ST17 0SG So that the following licensable activities may be provided on the following days and hours: Supply of Alcohol for On- and Off-Premises consumption: Mon-Fri (09:00-22:00), Sat-Sun (08:00-18:00). Please contact South Staffordshire Council’s Licensing Team, Council Offices, Wolverhampton Road, Codsall, WV8 1PX, 01902 696000, email: licensing@sstaffs.gov.uk to arrange inspection of the application details. 

Any representations against the application must be made in writing and received by the Licensing Team at the above address, by no later than the 7th July 2026 Individuals, businesses and other bodies may make representations in relation to the application. Representations must be relevant and can only be on the licensing objectives of the prevention of crime and disorder, public safety, the prevention of public nuisance, and the protection of children from harm. Copies of all representations will be sent to the applicant. Persons making representations will have to appear at the Councils’ Licensing Sub-Committee. 

Note: It is an offence, liable on conviction to a fine up to £5,000 for a person to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with the application.
