PUBLIC NOTICE OF AN APPLICATION FOR A PREMISES LICENCE UNDER SECTION 17 OF THE LICENSING ACT 2003

Notice is hereby given that an application was made to HERTSMERE BOROUGH COUNCIL for a premises licence under the above Act on the 27TH MAY 2026.

Applicant: SHELL UK OIL PRODUCTS LIMITED

Address of premises: SHELL ELSTREE WAY, ELSTREE WAY, BOREHAMWOOD, HERTS., WD6 1LB.

Proposed licensable activities: SALE OF ALCOHOL FOR CONSUMPTION OFF THE PREMISES AND THE PROVISION OF LATE-NIGHT REFRESHMENT.

Proposed days and hours of licensable activity:

ALCOHOL SALES – MONDAY TO SUNDAY 00:00 TO 00:00 HOURS

AND THE PROVISION OF LATE NIGHT REFRESHMENT – MONDAY TO SUNDAY 23:00 TO 05:00 HOURS EACH DAY.

Any responsible authority or any other person wishing to make representations on this matter must submit those representations (stating the grounds of opposition) in writing to THE LICENSING OFFICER, HERTSMERE BOROUGH COUNCIL, CIVIC OFFICES, ELSTREE WAY, BOREHAMWOOD, HERTS., WD6 1WA or email licensing.services@hertsmere.gov.uk

Representations must be received by 24TH JUNE 2026.

Records of the application may be inspected by appointment only and are kept by the licensing officer at the address above.

It is an offence to make a false statement in connection with an application and those who make a false statement may be liable on summary conviction to an unlimited fine.
