What is proposed?

Notice of Application for the Grant of a Premises Licence Under Section 17 of the Licensing Act 2003

Notice is hereby given that Chopstix Restaurant Limited has applied to Reading Borough Council for the grant of a Premises Licence in respect of premises to be known as Chopstix, 80 Broad Street, Reading, RG1 2AP.

The proposed licensable activities and their hours are the provision for Late Night Refreshment Monday to Sunday 23:00 to 04:00 the following morning.

The opening hours of the premises will be Monday to Sunday 10:00 to 04:00.

Any person wishing to view this application may do so at Reading Borough Council by prior arrangement between the hours of 9am to 5pm please ring 0118 9373762 to make an appointment or via email to licensing@reading.gov.uk

Any person wishing to make representation to this application must do so in writing and must be made no later than 19 June 2026 to: Reading Borough Council, Licensing Section, Civic Offices, Bridge Street, Reading, RG1 2LU. No written representations will have personal details removed unless the licensing authority deems it appropriate to do so. Any request for personal details to be removed should be notified to the Licensing Authority at the time of making the representation.

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. The maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is unlimited.
