LICENSING ACT 2003 NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR THE VARIATION OF A PREMISES LICENCE
Notice is given that Cambourne Town Council have on the 28th May 2026 applied to South Cambridgeshire District Council as the Licensing Authority for the variation of the Premises Licence for
* Hub Community Centre on High Street, Great Cambourne, Cambridge, CB23 6GW to extend the opening hours for non-licensable activities to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week as well as the licensable activities of playing live or recorded music to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week controlled by a noise limiter in the Hub Main Hall to prevent causing a disturbance and only to be allowed inside the building between 23:00-08:00. To add boxing and wrestling entertainment to our list of permitted licensable activities for the times Mon-Fri 18:00-23:00, Sat and Sun 10:00-23:30. Lastly, to define the perimeter that this premises license covers to clearly include the front and back outside area, car park, access road, and the area between the access road and the Hub.

Representations in respect of this application must reach the Licensing Authority by 25th June 2026. Persons wishing to inspect the record of this application may do so by visiting the South Cambs website at www.scambs.gov.uk, or contacting the Licensing Team via email to licensing@scambs.gov.uk. It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application, the maximum fine for which on summary conviction is £5,000.
