NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR VARIATION OF A PREMISES LICENCE

NOTICE IS GIVEN THAT Central England Co-operative Limited has applied to Brentwood Borough Council on 27th May 2026 for the variation of the Premises Licence for The Co-operative, 62-64 Woodland Avenue, Hutton, Brentwood, Essex, CM13 1HH.

The Application is to amend the licensable hours and opening hours to 06:00 to 23:00 daily (removing Good Friday and Christmas Day restrictions), update the plan currently attached to the Premises Licence and remove the condition contained in Annex 2 “Alcohol shall not be sold in an open container or be consumed in the licensed premises”.

The Licensing Register may be inspected between 8.30am and 5.00pm Monday to Thursday and between 8.30am and 4.30pm Friday, excluding public holidays at :- Town Hall, Ingrave Road, Brentwood, Essex, CM15 8AY Details are also provided on Brentwood Borough Council’s website at www.brentwood.gov.uk

Any representations by a Responsible Authority or Other Person must be made in writing to the Licensing Authority at the above address by 24th June 2026.

Note: It is an offence under section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003 to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application. A person is liable to an unlimited fine on conviction should such a false statement be made.
