NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR THE TRANSFER OF A LICENCE
SOUTH WESTERN ADMINISTRATIVE COURT DIVISION

TAKE NOTICE that BOOJUM VICTORIA LIMITED, a limited liability company
having its registered office at 67-69 Botanic Avenue, Belfast, BT7 1JL intends to
apply at the the Magistrates Court sitting at Laganside Courts, 45 Oxford Street,
Belfast, BT1 3LL on 9th June 2026 at 10.00am for the transfer to it of the following
licences:
1. a licence at present registered in the name of BOOJUM VICTORIA SQUARE LIMITED for the premises situate at Unit MSU04-A Victoria
Square, Belfast, BT1 4QS;
2. a licence at present registered in the name of BOOJUM LISBURN LIMITED for the premises situate at Ground Floor Unit, Rathgar House,
509-511 Lisburn Road, Belfast, BT9 7EZ; and,
3. a licence at present registered in the name of BOOJUM LIMITED for the premises situate at 67-69 Botanic Avenue, Belfast, BT7 1JL
and all being premises of the kind specified in Article 5(1)(e) of the Licensing (Northern Ireland) Order 1996 namely premises in which there is
carried on the business of selling meals or refreshments, which are structurally adapted and used for the purpose of providing persons
frequenting the premises with a customary main table meal at mid-day or in the evening or both.
A protection Order authorising BOOJUM VICTORIA LIMITED to carry on the business under each of the above licences for the period of six months from the
date of the Order was granted by the Magistrates Court sitting at Laganside Courthouse on the on the 6th day of January 2026.
The applicant is a limited liability company whose sole Directors and executive controllers are Matthew Hill and David Maxwell both of whom have an address for
service at 67-69 Botanic Avenue, Belfast, BT7 1JL
The licences will all be deposited with the clerk of petty sessions before or at the hearing of the application.
AND FURTHER TAKE NOTICE that any person owning or residing or carrying on business in the vicinity of the licensed premises who intends to object to the
transfer of the Licence must in accordance with paragraph 4 of Schedule 5 to the Licensing Order of 1996 serve notice of intention to object upon the applicant and
the Clerk of Petty Sessions not less than one week before the before the time of the Court sitting specified in this Notice.
AND FURTHER TAKE NOTICE that the permissible grounds of objection are such as are specified in Article 22 (6) of the said Order of 1996 namely:-
(a) The procedure relating to the Application set out in Schedule 5 of the said Order of 1996 has not been complied with
(b) That the Applicant is not a fit person to hold a Licence
(c) That the business carried on the premises has been discontinued

Musgrave Street, 60 Victoria Street, Belfast, BT1 3GL (district headquarters for the police district command unit in which the premises are situated and in which the Applicant has its registered office).
(ii) Belfast City Council, Cecil Ward Building, 4-10 Linenhall Street, Belfast, BT2 8BP (district council for the district in which the premises are situated).
