What is proposed?

Notice of application to vary a Premises Licence under Section 34 of the Licensing Act 2003

Notice is hereby given that Mitchells & Butlers Leisure Retail Limited in respect of Premises known as Crown, 64 Brewer Street, London, W1F 9TP applied to Westminster City Council for a Variation of a Premises Licence. The proposed variation is: 1. To extend the start time for sale of alcohol (on & off premises) and exhibition of a film (indoors) to 10:00 on Sundays including the non-standard timing on Sundays before Bank Holidays (to mirror the permitted start time on all other days). Note - No change to terminal hours for licensable activities. 2. To add a condition that substantial food and non-intoxicating beverages shall be available where alcohol is sold or supplied for consumption on the premises between 10:00 and 12:00 on Sunday and to amend a condition as detailed in the application and accompanying document. 3. To explicitly add nonstandard timing for New Years Eve for opening hours to mirror existing timing for licensable activities. See application and accompanying document for full details. Any representations regarding the above-mentioned application must be received in writing by Licensing Service, Westminster City Council, Westminster City Hall, 64 Victoria street, London, SW1E 5QP or via email to licensing@westminster.gov.uk no later than 23 June 2026 stating the grounds for representation. The public register where applications are available to be viewed by members of the public can be access online by visiting at www.westminster.gov.uk/licensing and following the link to the public register.

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. A person is liable to an unlimited fine on conviction should such a false statement be made.
