What is proposed?
PUBLIC NOTICE OF AN APPLICATION TO VARY A PREMISES LICENCE UNDER SECTION 34 OF THE LICENSING ACT 2003
Notice is hereby given that an application was made to NEWCASTLE CITY COUNCIL to vary a premises licence under the above Act on the 26TH MAY 2026
Applicant: SHELL UK OIL PRODUCTS LIMITED
Address of premises: SHELL BYKER, 308 SHIELDS ROAD, NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE, NE6 2UU
Proposed variation to the licensable activities:
1. ADD THE LICENSABLE ACTIVITY THE SALE OF ALCOHOL (FOR CONSUMPTION OFF THE PREMISES)- MONDAY TO SUNDAY 06:00 TO 00:00 HOURS PER DAYTO THE PREMISES LICENCE.
2. ADD CONDITIONS TO THE PREMISES LICENCE; AND
3. UPDATE THE PLAN ATTACHED TO PREMISES LICENCE.
Anyone who wishes to make representations regarding this application for variation must give notice in writing to:-
LICENSING AUTHORITY, NEWCASTLE CITY COUNCIL, PUBLIC SAFETY AND REGULATION, CIVIC CENTRE, NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE NE1 8QH by no later than 23RD JUNE 2026.
The Application Record and Register may be viewed during normal office hours at the above address or at https://portal.newcastle.gov.uk.
