NOTICE OF NEW PREMISES/ CLUB PREMISES CERTIFICATE

PREMISES Oxton Cricket Club Pavilion, The Club House, The Pleasure Ground, Main Street, Oxton, Nottinghamshire, NG25 0SA

Notice is given that Oxton Cricket Club has applied to Newark & Sherwood District Council for a new Premises Licence or Club Licence Certificate under the Act 2003.

The proposed use/variation is:

The cricket Club is applying for a Club Premises Certificate in order to serve alcohol to club members and their guests only during home matches through cricket season.

This will be between the start of April and the end of September ( cricket season) on Monday - Thursday between 11:00 - 22:00, and Friday - Sunday 11:00 - 22:30

Anyone who wishes to make representations regarding this application must give notice in writing to: The Licensing Manager, Newark & Sherwood District Council, Castle House, Great North Road, Newark on Trent, NG24 1BY.
Representations must be received no later than 18 June 2026
The application record and register may be viewed during normal office hours at the above address.
It is an offence under section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003 knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application and the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is up to level 5 on the standard scale (£5,000)
