PUBLIC NOTICE OF APPLICATION
APPLICATION FOR A PREMISES LICENCE (under Section 17)
Name of Applicant: Live Nation (Music) UK Ltd.
Premises: Cardiff Bay Arena, Atlantic Wharf, Cardiff Bay, Cardiff CF10 4UW.
Statement of relevant Licensable Activities which it is proposed will be carried on from the premises together with the relevant times:
1. The sale by retail of alcohol for consumption on and off the premises: Monday to Sunday: 09:00 to 02:00. New Year’s Eve: 09:00 until start of permitted hours the following day.
2. The provision of regulated entertainment in the form of plays, films, indoor sports, boxing or wrestling, live music, recorded music, performance of dance, and entertainment of a similar description (all indoors): Monday to Sunday: 09:00 to 02:00. New Year’s Eve: 09:00 until start of permitted hours the following day.
3. The provision of late night refreshment (indoors and outdoors): Monday to Sunday: 23:00 to 02:00. New Year’s Eve: 09:00 to 05:00. Non-standard timing - The terminal hour for special events to be extended to 04.00 limited to a maximum of 6 occasions per annum for all licensable activity.
The Licensing Register may be inspected at the Licensing, Cardiff Council, County Hall, Cardiff CF10 4UW between 9.00am and 4.00pm (Monday to Friday except public holidays).
Any representations must be made in writing to the above address or via email at licensing@cardiff.gov.uk by 16 June 2026. It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application punishable on summary conviction by an unlimited fine.
