LICENSING ACT 2003 NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO VARY A PREMISES LICENCE UNDER SECTION 34
Notice is hereby given that on the 19th May 2026 Asda Stores Ltd applied to Knowsley Council for a variation of the Premises Licence in respect of premises Asda Express (formerly Asda Petrol Filling Station) Archway Road, Huyton Knowsley L36 9GE. The proposed variation is ;- 1. To amend the hours for opening and alcohol sales to 24 hours a day. 2. To add a condition to the licence requiring the operation of a night hatch. 3. To change the trading name of the premises to Asda Express.
Any representations by a responsible authority or any other person regarding this application must be received in writing by:- Licensing Authority, Knowsley Council, Huyton Municipal – Second Floor, Archway Road, Huyton, Knowsley L36 9FB no later than 16th June 2026 stating the grounds for representations. The register of Knowsley Council the record of the application may be inspected at the above address during normal office hours. It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. The fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is unlimited.
