NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR GRANT OF PREMISES LICENCE UNDER THE LICENSING ACT 2003
University of Bath applied to Bath & North East Somerset Council on 19 May 2026 for a premises licence to use the premises at Bath Recreation Ground, Pulteney Mews, Bath, BA2 4DS for the supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises and the provision of recorded music.
The proposed licensable activities are:
• Recorded music, Tuesday to Saturday, 11:15 to 18:00
• Supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises, Tuesday to Saturday, 11:30 to 18:00
The premises licence application is for the period Tuesday 14 July 2026 to Saturday 18 July 2026.
Notification of the application made to the Licensing Authority is available on a register at www.bathnes.gov.uk/public-registers.
Representations should be made in writing to: Bath & North East Somerset Council Licensing Services Lewis House Manvers Street Bath BA1 1JG or by email to licensing@bathnes.gov.uk by 16 June 2026.
Representations made will be disclosed in an open meeting should a hearing be necessary.
It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application and is subject to a fine of any amount on summary conviction for the offence.
