Notice of application for the grant of a Premises Licence

under Section 17 of the Licensing Act 2003

Notice is hereby given that Encore Leisure Propco Limited has applied to Isle of Wight Council for the grant of a Premises Licence in respect of Premises to be known as Isle of Wight Resort, Atherfield Bay, Military Road, Ventnor, PO38 2JD.

The proposed licensable activities and their hours are to permit the sale of alcohol for consumption on and off the premises from 10:00 to midnight each day (and on New Years Eve from 10:00 to 02:00 the following morning) and to permit the premises to open to the public from 08:00 to 00:30 each day (and on New Years Eve from 08:00 to 02:30 the following morning).

Any representations regarding the above-mentioned application must be received in writing by Isle of Wight Council, Licensing Section, County Hall, High Street, Newport, Isle of Wight, PO30 1UD or by e-mail to licensing@iow.gov.uk no later than 15th June 2026 stating the grounds for representation. The register of Isle of Wight Council and the record of the application may be inspected at the address of the council, between 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am to 4.30pm Fridays, anyone wishing to view application documentation at the Council offices will need to call 01983 823159 to book an appointment or on the council’s website - https://www.iow.gov.uk/licensing

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. A person is liable to an unlimited fine on conviction should such a false statement be made.
