What is proposed?
APPLICATION FOR A FULL VARIATION LICENSING ACT 2003
NOTICE is hereby given that we, Wheatsheaf (Sandbach) Ltd have applied on 15th May 2026 to Cheshire East Council in respect of the premises known as The Wheatsheaf, 1 Hightown, Sandbach, CW11 1AG for a full variation to vary the following:
Remove the following conditions:
• Capacity must not exceed 100 persons, including staff and entertainers.
• The licensee agrees to reduce outdoor music levels after 10pm on every evening (outdoor noise levels after 10pm to be agreed with closest resident after testing the sound levels upon installation).
Add the following condition:
• Capacity must not exceed 200 persons, including staff and entertainers.
Representations shall be made in writing to the below address on or before the following date: 12th June 2026.

The application may be inspected at the Licensing Section of Cheshire East Council by prior appointment during normal office hours. It is an offence on summary conviction, to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with this application, the maximum fine for which is, unlimited.
