What is proposed?

NOTICE OF APPLICATION (on 15 May 2026) to Stafford Borough Council for the grant of a premises licence by Punjabi Tavern Ltd in respect of Punjabi Tavern, 31 Eastgate Street, Stafford ST16 2LZ

To allow the (on) sale by retail of alcohol 1200 – 2100hrs Monday to Sunday.

Any persons wishing to make comments must do so in writing to the Licensing Officer, Stafford Borough Council, Civic Centre, Riverside, Stafford, ST16 3AQ on or before 14 June 2026.

Applications can be viewed during normal office hours at this address.

It is an offence under Section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003, knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application and the maximum fine for which a person is liable on conviction for the offence is up to level 5 on the standard scale (£unlimited).
