Notice of Application to Vary a
Premises Licence Under Section 34 of the
Licensing Act 2003
Notice is hereby given that Red Oak Taverns Ltd in respect of Premises known as Minster Inn, 24 Marygate, York, YO30 7BH applied to City of York Council for a Variation of a Premises Licence.
The proposed variation is to updated the layout plans in respect of works undertaken at the premises; extend the sale of alcohol and opening hours to start at 0800 Monday to Sunday, the end timings for both sale of alcohol and opening hours to remain as existing; to remove outdated conditions superseded by mandatory conditions or other legislation as listed in the application; and update conditions regarding children in the premises, all other licensable activities, hours and conditions to remain as existing.
Any representations regarding the above-mentioned application must be received in writing by email to licensing@york.gov.uk or by post to City of York, Licensing Services, Hazel Court EcoDepot, James Street, York, YO10 3DS, no later than 15th June 2026 stating the grounds for representation.
The Licensing Application Register can be viewed by prior arrangement with City of York Council Licensing Section (telephone: 01904 552422) at Licensing Services, Hazel Court EcoDepot, James Street, York, YO10 3DS between 8.30am and 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.
It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. A person is liable to an unlimited fine on conviction should such a false statement be made.
