PUBLIC NOTICE OF AN APPLICATION FOR A PREMISES LICENCE UNDER SECTION 17 OF THE LICENSING ACT 2003

Notice is hereby given that an application was made to SOUTH STAFFORDSHIRE COUNCIL for a premises licence under the above Act on the 12TH MAY 2026.

Proposed licensable activities: SALE OF ALCOHOL FOR CONSUMPTION ON & OFF THE PREMISES, THE PROVISION OF LATE-NIGHT REFRESHMENT, PERFORMANCE OF LIVE MUSIC AND PERFORMANCE OF RECORDED MUSIC.

Proposed days and hours of licensable activity: SALE OF ALCOHOL, PERFORMANCE OF LIVE AND RECORDED MUSIC – MONDAY TO SUNDAY 11:30 TO 00:00 HRS, BANK HOLIDAYS AND CHRISTMAS EVE 11:30 TO 00:30 HRS AND NEW YEARS EVE 11:30 TO 01:00 HRS. THE PROVISION OF LATE-NIGHT REFRESHMENT – MONDAY TO SUNDAY 23:00 TO 00:00 HRS EACH DAY, BANK HOLIDAYS AND CHRISTMAS EVE 23:00 TO 00:30 HRS AND NEW YEARS EVE 23:00 TO 01:00 HRS.

Please contact South Staffordshire Council’s Licensing Team, Council Offices, Wolverhampton Road, Codsall, WV8 1PX, 01902 696000, email: licensing@sstaffs.gov.uk to arrange inspection of the application details. Any representations against the application must be made in writing and received by the Licensing Team at the above address, by no later than the 9TH JUNE 2026. Individuals, businesses and other bodies may make representations in relation to the application. Representations must be relevant and can only be on the licensing objectives of the prevention of crime and disorder, public safety, the prevention of public nuisance, and the protection of children from harm. Copies of all representations will be sent to the applicant. Persons making representations will have to appear at the Councils’ Licensing Sub-Committee.

It is an offence to make a false statement in connection with an application and those who make a false statement may be liable on summary conviction to an unlimited fine.
