What is proposed?
LICENSING ACT 2003 - NOTICE OF APPLICATION
APPLICANT: Cheshire West and Chester
PREMISES: Anchor Market Hall, Mercer Walk, Ellesmere Port, CH65 0AJ
An application has been made for a new premises licence to allow the following licensable activities to take place:-
Performance of plays, Exhibition of films, Indoor sporting events, Boxing or wrestling entertainment, Performance of live music, Playing of recorded music, Performance of dance, Supply of alcohol on and off the premises.
A copy of the application for the grant of the above licence is available for inspection at the office of The Licensing Team, Cheshire West and Chester Council, The Portal, Wellington Road, Ellesmere Port, CH65 0BA or can be viewed online at bit.ly/CWACApplicationsUnderConsultation or via the QR code below. The application can be viewed Monday to Friday 9am to 4.00pm, except bank holidays. For further information please email licensing@cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk
Any person wishing to make representations in relation to this application must do so in writing to The Licensing Team, Cheshire West and Chester Council, The Portal, Wellington Road, Ellesmere Port, CH65 0BA no later than 10th June 2026 28 consecutive days from the day after the application was given to the Licensing Authority.
It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. The maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction is unlimited.
