NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A PREMISES LICENCE
Notice is hereby given that an application has been made by ABJ 30 Ltd in respect of premises known as Nine located at 9 The Strand, Derby, DE1 1BJ to Derby City Council on 14 May 2026 for a premises licence. The proposed application is: 1. To permit the supply of alcohol and regulated entertainment comprising of films, indoor sporting events, live music, recorded music, performance of dance from 10:00 to 02:00 on Sundays to Thursdays and from 10:00 to 03:00 on Fridays and Saturdays. 2. The provision of late night refreshment from 23:00 to 02:00 on Sundays to Thursdays and from 23:00 to 03:00 on Fridays and Saturdays. 3. To provide licensable activities on specific occasions. Full details of the application are contained within the application form held by the licensing authority at Derby City Council, Council House, Corporation Street, Derby, DE1 2FS where the licensing register can be inspected during the authority’s normal opening hours or at www.derby.gov.uk/licensing/alcohol-licences/alcoholentertainment/
Any representations by a responsible authority or other person regarding the above-mentioned application must be made in writing to the licensing authority at the above address or to licensing@derby.gov.uk no later than 11 June 2026, stating the grounds upon which the representation is being made.
It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application. The maximum financial penalty on summary conviction is unlimited.
