APPLICATION TO VARY PREMISES LICENCE

Notice is hereby given that Punch Taverns Limited has applied to Wirral Council in respect of Crown, 128 Conway Street, Birkenhead, CH41 6JE for an application to vary the premises licence under the Licensing Act 2003 to permit the following: This is an application to extend the permission for the sale of alcohol, along with amending the opening hours of the premises, as follows; Monday and Tuesday from 08:00 until 23:00 (current permission 10:00 until 23:00), Wednesday to Saturday from 08:00 until 00:00 (current permission 10:00 until 00:00) and Sunday from 08:00 until 23:30 (current permission 12:00 until 23:30). The terminal hour for licensable activities and closing to the public to remain unchanged. To also remove the current restriction on trading hours on Christmas Day, so that the hours reflect the day that 25th December falls on each year. To remove, amend and add conditions in order to further promote the licensing objectives. A full list of these conditions can be viewed on the full application held by the licensing authority and available to view upon request. The application can be viewed Monday to Friday 10:00 to 16:30 at the Wirral Council Licensing Office, Wallasey Town Hall, Brighton Street, Wallasey. Representations must be made in writing to the Licensing Office by email to licensing@wirral.gov.uk or to Town Hall, PO Box 290, Brighton Street, Wallasey, CH27 9FQ no later than the end of 8th June 2026.

It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with this application. Persons will be liable on summary conviction to an unlimited fine.
