Notice of Application to vary a Premises Licence
TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
Take notice that JD Wetherspoon plc has made an
application under Section 34 of the Licensing Act 2003 to
vary the Premises Licence for the Jolly Tars, 154-158
Victoria Road West, Thornton Cleveleys, FY5 3NE. The
application seeks to amend the hours on the premises
licence as follows: Sale by Retail of Alcohol: Friday and
Saturday 0900 – 0100 (currently 0030). Late Night
Refreshment: Friday and Saturday 2300 – 0100 (currently
0030). Opening: Friday and Saturday 0700 – 0130
(currently 0100). Sunday to Thursday hours remain
unchanged. Include the following condition to the premises
licence: "The premises licence holder will risk assess the
need for door supervisors at the premises and/or employ
such door supervisors at such time and in such numbers as
deemed necessary by the risk assessment and/or at any
other times upon agreement with the police." There are no
other changes to the premises licence. The postal address
of the relevant licensing authority is set out below and a
record of the application may be inspected there during
normal office hours or at

Anyone who wishes to make representations regarding this
application must give notice in writing to the Licensing
Section, Wyre Council, Civic Centre, Breck Road, Poulton-

It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false
statement in connection with this application. The
maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary
conviction for this offence is unlimited.
