What is proposed?

NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO VARY A PREMISES LICENCE
Under Section 34 of The Licensing Act 2003
Hunky Dory Restaurants Limited t/a McDonald’s have applied to Cyngor Sir Ceredigion County Council on 12th May 2026 to vary a Premises
Licence for McDonald’s Restaurants, ParcY Llyn Retail Park,Aberystwyth,
SY23 3TL.
The Premises Licence currently enables the restaurant to open
every day from 05:00-23:00 and in addition provide the licensable activity
of Late Night Refreshment from 23:00 until 05:00 Friday nights/Saturday
mornings and Saturday nights/Sunday mornings.TheVariation is to extend
the opening hours and the provision of late night refreshment hours to
enable the restaurant, delivery service and drive-thru to trade 24/7. In
addition, the application is to remove all conditions from 2014 under
Annex 3 of the current Premises Licence and submit a new Operating
Schedule.The application is available for inspection by request made to:The
Licensing Section, Ceredigion County Council, County Hall, Aberaeron,
Ceredigion SA46 0AT,by email: publicprotection@ceredigion.gov.uk or
telephone: 01545 572 179 Any responsible authority or other person
wishing to make representations in respect of this application should do
so in writing to the Licensing Section at the above address or by e-mail to
publicprotection@ceredigion.gov.uk by midnight on 9th June 2026.
It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in
connection with an application. A person is liable to an unlimited fine on
conviction should such a false statement be made.
