What is proposed?
NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A VARIATION OF A PREMISES LICENCE
Notice is hereby given that We, Greene King Retailing Limited have applied to Ipswich Borough Council on 08th May 2026 for a variation to a premises licence to use the premises at the: Thrasher, Nacton Road, Ipswich, Suffolk, IP3 9RZ The application is to vary the: Hours for sale of alcohol from 9am daily. Licensing layout plan for refurbishment works and reconfiguration of toilets including alterations to the dining entrance lobby and proposed transition area. Block up 1Nr fire exit door in the conservatory. For further details please refer to the proposed licensing plan. Any part of the variation application that changes the plan/layout at the premises to be of no effect until the work has been completed.
Any person who wishes to make a representation in relation to this application must give notice in writing of their representation by 05th June 2026 stating the grounds for making said representation to the: Licensing Team, Ipswich Borough Council, Grafton House, 15-17 Russell Road, Ipswich, IP1 2DE or by email to licensing@ipswich.gov.uk. The Licensing Authority must receive representations by the date given above. The Licensing Authority will have regard to any such representation in considering the application. It is an offence, under section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003, to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in or in connection with an application for premises licence and the maximum fine on summary conviction is unlimited.
