NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A PREMISES LICENCE
Notice is hereby given that Eastern Esplanade Catering Limited (Company No. 16836854), of Kingsley House, 22-24 Elm Road, Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, SS9 1SN, has applied to Southend-on-Sea City Council for the grant of a Premises Licence under the Licensing Act 2003 in respect of the premises known as 32-35 Eastern Esplanade, Southend-on-Sea, Essex, SS1 2ES (operating as Driftwood and Seafood Shack).
The licensable activities applied for are: the sale by retail of alcohol on and off the premises; the provision of late night refreshment; and the provision of regulated entertainment comprising dance, films, indoor sporting events, live and recorded music and anything of a similar description.
Sale of alcohol applied for: Sundays to Thursdays 10:00 to 00:00; Fridays and Saturdays 10:00 to 02:00; Bank Holidays and eves of Bank Holidays 10:00 to 02:00.
The application register may be inspected at the offices of the Licensing Authority, Southend-on-Sea City Council, Civic Centre, Victoria Avenue, Southend-on-Sea, SS2 6ER, during normal office hours, or via the Council's online public licensing register.
Any person wishing to make a representation in respect of this application must give notice in writing to the Licensing Authority at the above address, stating the grounds for representation, no later than 5.6.26.
It is an offence under section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003 knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. The maximum penalty on summary conviction is an unlimited fine.
