I have submitted an application for the grant of a premises licence to Bristol City Council, Licensing Authority 100 Temple Street, Bristol BS1 6AG.

The record of the application may also be inspected at this address between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm Monday - Friday, with the exception of Wednesday when the opening hours are 10.00 am and 5.00 pm or on the Council’s website at www.bristol.gov.uk.

Application is made for the grant of a Premises Licence under the provisions of the Licensing Act 2003 in respect of the following licensable activities at the aforementioned premises:

• The sale of alcohol for consumption on the premises Monday to Sunday between the hours of 11:00 and 23:00.

• The provision of background café music, consisting of unamplified recorded music played through smart speakers at a reasonable volume, between the hours of 08:00 and 23:00 Monday to Sunday.

•The provision of live music consisting of one or two unamplified vocal performers, without microphones, on Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays between the hours of 16:00 and 21:00.

The premises will operate as a café and will generally be open to the public between 07:30 and 23:00 Monday to Sunday, subject to business demand and occasional earlier closure during quieter trading periods.

There are no proposed seasonal variations.

Relevant persons and responsible authorities may make written representation to the relevant Licensing Authority by 8/06/2026 such representation shall be made in writing to Licensing Team, PO Box 3300, Bristol, BS1 9LN or via email: licensing@bristol.gov.uk

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application and the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is an unlimited fine.
