What is proposed?

LICENSING ACT 2003: APPLICATION FOR NEW PREMISES LICENCE

Notice is hereby given that The Original Bowling Company Limited has applied to the City of Salford in respect of Hollywood Bowl, Leisure Box L3 Upper Mall, Quayside, The Quays, Salford, M50 3AH for the grant of a new premises licence under the Licensing Act 2003 to permit the following:

The licensable activities which it is proposed will be carried on at the premises are the sale by retail of alcohol and provision of regulated entertainment as follows; Sunday to Thursday from 0900 hours to 2300 hours and Friday and Saturday from 0900 hours to 0100 hours the following morning.

The provision of late night refreshment as follows; Friday and Saturday from 2300 hours to 0100 hours the following morning.

The opening hours will be as follows; Sunday to Thursday from 0900 hours to 2330 hours, Friday and Saturday from 0900 hours to 0130 hours the following morning.

For New Years Eve (into New Years Day), Bank Holidays, Sunday prior to a Bank Holiday Monday the provision of licensable activities to be 0900 to 0100 (Late Night Refreshment from 2300 to 0100) with closing 30 minutes after the end of licensable activities.

Anyone who wishes to make representations regarding this application must give notice in writing to: The Licensing Service, Salford City Council, Regulatory Services, Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Salford M27 5AW or at www.salford.gov.uk/licensing-applications

Representations must be received no later than the end of 4th June 2026.

It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with this application. Persons will be liable on summary conviction to an unlimited fine.
