What is proposed?

LICENSING ACT 2003

Application has been made by Whitbread Group PLC to the Licensing Authority of Kirklees Council for a Premises Licence for the Huddersfield Central Premier Inn at St Andrews Road, Huddersfield. HD1 6SB.

The application includes the following terms:-

1. To enable the sale of alcohol between 10:00 and 00:30 hours seven days a week to non-resident for consumption on and off the premises and 24 hours a day seven days a week for residents.

2. To enable the sale of alcohol for extended hours at Bank Holidays and on other limited days as specified in the application.

3. To enable the provision of Film when the Premises are open for the sale of alcohol.

4. To enable the provision of late-night refreshment.

A copy of the application/licensing register can be viewed at the Licensing Office (address below) during office hours or online at www.kirklees.gov.uk/licensing

Interested parties and responsible authorities may make representations regarding the application where they believe that the proposed activities would undermine any of the four licensing objectives.

Any representations must be submitted in writing to the Licensing Office, Flint Street Depot, Flint Street, Fartown, Huddersfield, HD1 6LG or by email licensing@kirklees.gov.uk by 29th May 2026

It is an offence for anyone knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with a Licence Application. The maximum fine on summary conviction is unlimited.
