LICENSING ACT 2003 NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A PREMISES LICENCE UNDER SECTION 17

Notice is hereby given that on the 11th May 2026 Castle Howard Estates Limited applied to North Yorkshire Council (Ryedale area) for a Premises Licence in respect of premises Arboretum Café and Gift Shop, Castle Howard, York YO60 7BY.

The proposed licensable activities are:

1. The supply of alcohol on Mondays to Sundays between the hours of 07:00 to 24:00.
2. The provision of Late Night Refreshment Mondays to Sundays between the hours of 23:00 to 24:00.

Any representations by a responsible authority or any other person regarding this application must be received in writing by:-

Licensing Team, North Yorkshire Council (Ryedale area), Ryedale House, Old Malton Road, Malton YO17 7ZG no later than the 8th June 2026 stating the grounds for representations.

The register of North Yorkshire Council and the record of the application may be inspected and can be viewed during normal office hours at the above address.

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. The fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is unlimited.
