What is proposed?
Notice of Application to Vary a Premises Licence Under Section 34 of the Licensing Act 2003
Notice is hereby given that Demon Leisure Limited in respect of premises known as The Brotherhood of Pursuits and Pastimes, 2 Mount Street, Manchester, M2 5WQ, applied to Manchester City Council for a Variation of a Premises Licence.
The proposed variation is to extend the permitted hours for the sale of alcohol on & off the premises and the provision for regulated entertainment (to include live music, recorded music, performances of dance and anything of a similar description) from the current hours of Monday to Sunday 11:00 to 02:00 the following morning to the proposed hours of Monday to Sunday 11:00 to 03:00 the following morning.
To extend Late Night Refreshment from the current hours of Monday to Sunday 23:00 to 02:30 the following morning to the proposed hours of Monday to Sunday 23:00 to 03:00 the following morning.
The opening hours of the premises will be Monday to Sunday 11:00 to 03:30 the following morning.
To remove Condition 12 of Annex 2 of the Premises Licence and replace with the following: “Door supervisors shall be employed by the premises based upon a written risk assessment (with a copy to be kept on the premises) carried out in relation to the following factors: Expected attendance; Type of event taking place; Time of year; Special occasion (New Year, Halloween, Local events etc.); Premises Licence Conditions; Screening of high profile sporting events; and closing time.
