What is proposed?

Notice of application to vary a Premises Licence under Section 34 of the Licensing Act 2003

Notice is hereby given that Arc Inspirations Limited in respect of premises known as Manahatta, 9-17 Collingwood Street, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE1 1HE, applied to Newcastle City Council for a Variation of a Premises Licence.

The proposed variation is to extend the permitted hours for regulated entertainment (to include live music, recorded music and anything of a similar description) and the sale of alcohol on and off the premises from the current hours of Monday to Sunday 11:00 to 02:00 the following morning to the proposed hours of Monday to Sunday 11:00 to 03:00 the following morning. To extend the provision for Late Night Refreshment from the current hours of Monday to Sunday 23:00 to 02:00 the following morning to the proposed hours of Monday to Sunday 23:00 to 03:00 the following morning.

The opening hours of the premises will be Monday to Sunday 11:00 to 03:30 the following morning.

Anyone who wishes to make representations regarding this application for variation must give notice in writing to:- Licensing Authority, Newcastle City Council, Public Safety and Regulation, Civic Centre, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 8QH, or by email to licensing@newcastle.gov.uk.

Representations must be received by 4 June 2026.

The Application Record and Register may be viewed during normal office hours at the above address or at https://portal.newcastle.gov.uk

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. The maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is unlimited.
