LICENSING ACT 2003 NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO VARY A  PREMISES LICENCE

Notice is hereby given that Medicine Events CIC (company number 12163886), of Gore Farm House, Hannington, Swindon, SN6 7SZ, has applied to West Berkshire District Council to vary a premises licence in respect of: Land at Wasing Park (Wasing Estate), Aldermaston, Berkshire, RG7 4NG Premises licence reference: 20/00016/LQN

This application relates solely to the biennial (every two years) Medicine event operated by Medicine Events CIC and is not connected to any other events held at Wasing Estate. The variation sought is as follows: The applicant seeks to extend the licensed event period to include Wednesday, in addition to the existing Thursday to Monday period. The proposed changes are: •  Addition of Wednesday timings (16:00–23:00) for the performance of live music, recorded music, performances of dance, and other similar entertainment •  Addition of Wednesday opening hours (11:00–00:00) •  Variation of Condition 1 of Annex 2, which currently limits the licence to a 120-hour period from Thursday to Monday, to read: “This licence shall only have effect for one period each calendar year, commencing no earlier than 11:00 on the Wednesday and concluding no later than 16:00 on the following Monday.” Representations may be made by any responsible authority or interested party to the Licensing Authority at: Public Protection Partnership (Licensing), West Berkshire District Council, Market Street, Newbury, Berkshire, RG14 5LD Email: licensing@westberks.gov.uk Representations must be received no later than 04/06/2026 (4th June). It is an offence under the Licensing Act 2003 to make a false statement in connection with an application. Persons making representations should be aware that their details may be disclosed to the applicant.
