Notice is hereby given that on the 1st May 2026 Asda Stores Ltd applied to North Devon District Council for a Premises Licence in respect of premises Asda Express Barnstaple PFS Taw Wharf, Sticklepath, Barnstaple EX31 2BN. The proposed licensable activities are ;- 1. The sale by retail of alcohol on Mondays to Sundays between the hours of 00.00 to 24.00. 2. To permit late night refreshment on Mondays to Sundays between the hour of 23.00 and 05.00 Any representations by a responsible authority or any other person regarding this application must be received in writing by;- The Licensing Team, North Devon District Council, Lynton House, Commercial Road, Barnstaple, Devon EX31 1DG email licensing@northdevon.gov.uk no later than the 29th May 2026 stating the grounds for representations. The register of North Devon District Council and the record of the application may be inspected at the above address by appointment only or on our website at; https://www.northdevon.gov.uk/business/licences-and-permits/entertainment-and-alcohollicences It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. The fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is unlimited.
