LICENSING ACT 2003 NOTICE OF APPLICATION

FOR A PREMISES LICENCE UNDER SECTION 17

Notice is hereby given that on the 27th April 2026 Asda Stores Ltd applied to Basildon Borough Council for a Premises Licence in respect of premises Asda Express Eastgate PFS, Eastgate Shopping Centre, Basildon, Essex SS14 1AE. The proposed licensable activities are:-

1. The sale by retail of alcohol on Mondays to Sundays between the hours of 00.00 to 24.00.
2. To permit late night refreshment on Mondays to Sundays between the hour of 23.00 and 05.00

Any representations by a responsible authority or any other person regarding this application must be received in writing by:- Licensing Authority, Basildon Borough Council, The Basildon Centre, St Martin’s Square, Basildon Essex SS14 1DL; email licensing@basildon.gov.uk no later than the 25th May 2026 stating the grounds for representations.

The register of Basildon Borough Council and the record of the application may be inspected at the above address by appointment between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday (except public holidays).

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. The fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is unlimited.
