MARRIAGES AND CIVIL PARTNERSHIPS (APPROVED PREMISES) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 2022

Suffolk County Council has received an application from Kesgrave Hall Limited for Milsoms Kesgrave Hall, Hall Road, Kesgrave, Ipswich, Suffolk IP5 2PU to be approved as a venue for the solemnisation of marriages in pursuance of Section 26 (1) (bb) of the Marriage Act 1949, and the registration of civil partnerships in pursuance of section 6 (3A) (a) of the Civil Partnership Act 2004.

Copies of the application and plans showing the proposed premises have been deposited and may be inspected free of charge at the offices of Suffolk County Council, Endeavour House, 8 Russell Road, Ipswich IP1 2BX between 9am - 5pm Monday - Thursday and 9am - 4pm Friday.

Further copies of these documents have also been deposited at The Register Office, Endeavour House, 8 Russell Road, Ipswich IP1 2BX and may be inspected, by appointment, between 9am - 4pm Monday - Friday.

Any representation or objection with respect to this application may be sent in writing to Jane Parker, Head of Registration Services, Endeavour House, 8 Russell Road, Ipswich, Suffolk IP1 2BX or to venuelicensing@suffolk.gov.uk before 26/05/2026 stating the grounds on which it is made.

Suffolk County Council has received an application from Food Museum Weddings for Abbots Hall, The Food Museum, Crowe Street, Stowmarket, Suffolk IP14 1DL to be approved as a venue for the solemnisation of marriages in pursuance of Section 26 (1) (bb) of the Marriage Act 1949, and the registration of civil partnerships in pursuance of section 6 (3A) (a) of the Civil Partnership Act 2004.
