APPLICATION FOR A PREMISES LICENCE

(Section 17)

Notice is hereby given that B & M Retail Limited has
applied to Sunderland City Council for the grant of a
Premises Licence in respect of B&M Store, (Former B&M
and Aldi), Unit 3 & 4, Timber Beach Road, Hylton Retail
Park, Sunderland SR5 3XG to allow off sales of alcohol
and opening hours from 07:00 to 23:00 7 days a week. The
licensing register of Sunderland City Council is kept at:
Sunderland City Council, Licensing Section, City Hall,
Plater Way, Sunderland, SR1 3AA. A record of the
application may be inspected by appointment during the
hours Monday to Thursday 8.30 – 5.15 and Friday 8.30 –
4.45 at the Customer Services Centre, City Hall.
Representations regarding the application must be made in
writing to the Council no later than 25 May 2026.
It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false
statement in connection with an application and the
maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary
conviction for the offence is unlimited.
