What is proposed?
Notice of application to vary a Premises Licence under Section 34 of the Licensing Act 2003
Notice is hereby given that Heron Foods Limited in respect of Premises known as Heron Foods, Northumberland Road, Brinnington, Stockport, SK5 8EP, applied to Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council for a Variation of a Premises Licence.
The proposed variation is to seek approval of the plan submitted with the application, which can be viewed upon request, in respect of the new layout and general refurbishment of the store.
To extend the sale of alcohol off the premises from the current hours of 08:00 - 20:00 Monday to Saturday to the proposed hours of 08:00 - 21:00 Monday to Saturday.
The opening hours on Monday to Saturday will be 08:00 - 21:00.
Any representations by an interested party or responsible authority regarding the above mentioned application must be received in writing by Licensing Department, Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council, The Licensing Officer, Stopford House, Piccadilly, Stockport, SK1 3UR, or by email to licensing@stockport.gov.uk no later than 27 May 2026 stating the grounds for objection.
The register of Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council, and the record of the application may be inspected at the address of the Council’s website – www.stockport.gov.uk or in person at the council offices at the above address during officer hours.
It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. The maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is unlimited.
