NOTICE UNDER SECTION 27(1) OF
THE TRUSTEE ACT 1925
Sakata UK Limited Retirement Benefits Scheme

Notice is hereby given to all parties who are or were
members of the Sakata UK Limited Retirement Benefits
Scheme (“the Scheme”) (previously called the Samuel
Yates Ltd Retirement Benefits Scheme) that the Trustees
intend to wind up the Scheme and take action to secure
members’ benefits in full with an insurer. The Scheme
commenced winding up on 7 April 2026.
The Trustees believe that all members of the Scheme and
their benefits under it have been identified, and members
announcements have been sent to all members for whom
the Scheme holds an address. If you have already received
a communication from the Trustees regarding this matter
then you do not need to take any action as the Trustees
already have details of your claims and entitlements.
If you were an employee of Sakata UK Limited (previously
called Samuel Yates Limited) and believe you were a
member of the Scheme, or otherwise believe you may have
a claim against, or entitlement to, a pension or any benefit

from the Scheme and you have not received any ann-
ouncements relating to the Scheme or been contacted the

Scheme’s administrators, First Actuarial LLP, please post
or e-mail notification of your claim.
Claimants should specify their full name, address, date of

birth, national insurance number, particulars of member-
ship of, or other claim on, the Scheme (including any

documents supporting their claim) to:

Claims must be made within 2 months of the date of
the publication of this advertisement. After that date, the
Trustees will proceed to complete the winding-up of the
Scheme having regard only to valid claims or interests of
which the Trustees shall then have had notice and will not
be liable to any other person.
