NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR THE TRANSFER OF A LICENCE

TAKE NOTICE that we, BELLEVUE BELFAST LTD having its
registered office at 25 Hilltown Road, Newry, Co Down, BT34 2LJ intend
at the Magistrates Court sitting at Laganside Courts, 45 Oxford Street,
Belfast, BT1 3LL on 12 th May 2026 at 10.00am to apply for the transfer to us
of a licence at present held by Bellevue Arms Ltd of 1a Bingham Street,
Bangor, Co Down, BT36 7QS for the premises at 129 Antrim Road,
Newtownabbey, Co Antim, BT36 7QS being premises of the following kind
according to the Licensing (Northern Ireland) Order 1996 namely premises
specified in Article:
Article 5(1)(a) of the Licensing (Northern Ireland) Order 1996 namely
premises in which the business carried on under the licence is the business of
selling intoxicating liquor by retail for consumption either in or off the premises
A protection order authorising Bellevue Belfast Ltd of 25 Hilltown Road,
Newry, Co Down, BT34 2LJ to carry on business under the licence was
granted on 13 th January 2026 by the Magistrates Court sitting at Laganside
Courts, 45 Oxford Street, Belfast, BT1 3LL for the period of six months from
the date of the order.
The following body corporate owns the business carried on under the
Licence-
Bellevue Belfast Ltd being a limited liability company of which the following
persons are the directors-
John Patrick Morgan and Michele Newell both of 25 Hilltown Road, Newry,
Co Down, BT34 2LJ
And the following are the executive controllers - none
The owner of the premises is Jeeves (Wolf) 2 Ltd having its registered office
at Crobane Enterprise Park 25 Hilltown Road, Newry, BT34 2LJ
The licence will be deposited with the clerk of petty sessions before or at the
hearing of the application.
AND FURTHER TAKE NOTICE that any person owning or residing or
carrying on business in the vicinity of the licensed premises who intends to
object to the transfer of the Licence must in accordance with paragraph 4 of
Schedule 5 to the Licensing Order of 1996 serve notice of his intention to
object upon the applicant and the Clerk of Petty Sessions not less than one
week before the before the time of the Court sitting specified in this Notice.
AND FURTHER TAKE NOTICE that the permissible grounds of objection are
such as are specified in Article 22 (6) of the said Order of 1996 namely:-
(a) The procedure relating to the Application set out in Schedule 5 of the
said Order of 1996 has not been complied with
(b) That the Applicant is not a fit person to hold a Licence
(c) That the business carried on the premises has been discontinued

PSNI Station, 3 Belfast Road, Newry, Co Down, BT34 1EF
(district headquarters for the police district command unit in which the
Applicant has its registered office).
(iii) Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council, Mossley Mill,
Newtownabbey, BT36 5QA (district council for the district in which the premises are situated).
