What is proposed?

Notice of Application for the grant of a Premises Licence under Section 17 of the Licensing Act 2003

Notice is hereby given that Royal Holloway Students Union has applied to Runnymede Borough Council for the grant of a Premises Licence in respect of Premises to be known as Royal Holloway Students Union, Student Union, Egham Hill, Englefield Green, Egham, TW20 0EX

The proposed licensable activities and their hours are: Regulated Entertainment in the form of Plays (Indoors), Films (Indoors and Outdoors), Indoor Sporting Events, Boxing or Wrestling (Indoors), Live Music (Indoors), Recorded Music (Indoors), anything of a similar description to those above (indoors and outdoors) from 10:00 until 03:00 Monday to Sunday.

Provision of Late Night Refreshment (indoors and outdoors) from 23:00 until 03:30 Monday to Sunday

Retail Sale of Alcohol (for consumption on and off the premises) from 10:00 until 03:00 Monday to Sunday.

Premises Opening Hours from 09:00 until 03:30 Monday to Sunday.

Any representations regarding the above-mentioned application must be received in writing to The Licensing Manager, Runnymede Borough Council, Civic Centre, Station Road, Addlestone, Surrey, KT15 2AH or by email to licensing@runnymede.gov.uk no later than 12th May 2026 stating the grounds for representation. The register of Runnymede Borough Council and the record of the application may be inspected at the address of the council, given above, during 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. Monday to Friday.

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. A person is liable to an unlimited fine on conviction should such a false statement be made.
